AI powered continuous quality reduced regression cycles from 72 hours to 8

A continuous quality approach for Salesforce CPQ, built on Tosca Copilot, qTest, and SeaLights to generate, run, and optimize tests end to end.

The Opportunity

Frequent application changes make regression testing increasingly difficult to sustain with manual processes. As release cycles accelerate, organizations need a way to validate business critical functionality faster without expanding testing effort.

A global consumer packaged goods company relied on manual regression testing for the Salesforce CPQ environment that configures and prices its sales quotes. Test creation could not keep pace with ongoing application changes. There was no automated connection between requirements, test cases, and execution results, and determining the right regression scope for every release was slow and error prone. The company needed a faster, repeatable approach that improved release quality while reducing manual effort.

The Transformation

Artizent modernized Salesforce CPQ testing with Tosca Copilot, qTest, and SeaLights, automating the full cycle from test authoring through execution to regression scope.

The result was faster, repeatable testing that kept pace with ongoing application changes while reducing manual effort.

  1. Automated Test Creation From Business Requirements

Artizent implemented an AI powered continuous quality approach using Tosca Copilot and qTest. Test cases were generated directly from Jira requirements and user stories, which eliminated manual authoring and kept test creation in step as Salesforce CPQ evolved. Copilot also suggested new use cases over time, so coverage kept expanding.

  2. Generated the Test Data for Each Scenario

An AI agent created the test data needed to run each scenario, so teams no longer prepared data by hand for every test. This removed a manual bottleneck and let generated cases run as soon as they were authored.

  3. Connected Requirements, Testing, and Execution

Generated test cases were published automatically to qTest, creating a central place to manage test assets and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. Execution ran unattended, with results synchronized back into qTest.

  4. Reduced Regression Effort Through AI Powered Impact Analysis

Instead of running full regression for every release, the platform analyzed each code change and ran only the tests it affected, a change aware approach that reduced regression scope while maintaining coverage across business critical Salesforce CPQ workflows.
